Great Drill, Long Battery Life Oct 15, 2009 The Makita blows away my old Ryobi nicad drill. The drill is much more powerful. The hammer drive is nice but I don't use it that much around the house. The chuck is easy to tighten and cranks down better than other drills I've had. The LED light is also good in tight spaces. This drill is lighter and smaller than the Ryobi but much more powerful and functional. The included charger seems to have a smart chip that knows when to stop charging. Buy quality tools and they will be provide a better work experience. They will also even out vs. cheap tools due to their longer life.
