Porter cable nailer works great Jan 30, 2010
By P. Engler

I purchase this nailer to do some mouldings and it worked great. I have a finish nailer but its loud. The porter cable is really nice. I enjoyed using it. I would recommend over other finish nailers.

A Great Brad Gun Mar 11, 2012
By Tools30 I have always been a Porter-Cable fan, since the early 80's. This Brad Nail Gun continues to support my faith. I have shot three different lengths on several wood projects, and I have not had a single mis-fire or jam. It is light, easy to load, easy to adjust depth, and has a good line of sight to the shot area. It works great. I can receommend this product without hesitation.

Excellent quality for the money. Feb 15, 2012
By Ken K This isn't the most expensive brad nailer one can purchase, so I've waited until I've put several large boxes of fasteners through it before reviewing it. It's been a joy to use: light and maneuverable and reliable. It has a low enough profile to fit into small spaces, is easy to fire, easy to adjust depth, and sinks the brads consistently without marring the work. It's not especially loud, as pneumatic nailers go, and is easy to maintain. Finally, I am delighted by its build quality and performance.

I love this tool! Dec 31, 2011
By J. Allen

I had a lot of baseboard to install. Previously I had used trim screws or needle nose pliers and brads. I thought that trying an electric would be nice for a change so I bought an Arrow 18ga electric for about the same price as this Porter Cable. I was very disappointed because it would not fully sink the brads. So, I returned it and bought this one. I would have liked it if the electric had worked because you would not need a compressor. But this Porter Cable works very nicely and so I guess I can tolerate lugging a pancake compressor.
Real nice features: The depth setting is adjustable. Lightweight, lighter than the electric and well balanced. Easy to use. Looks well made. Jam access, although thus far I've not had any jamming. Does not require oiling. Will not allow it fire empty which can damage the firing pin. Beats the hell out of needle nose and pliers. Fast and quiet.
